Day 2 — God Already Made A Way

Day 2: God Already Made a Way

2 Kings 7:5–7 5 So at twilight they set out for the camp of the Arameans. But when they came to the edge of the camp, no one was there! 6 For the Lord had caused the Aramean army to hear the clatter of speeding chariots and the galloping of horses and the sounds of a great army approaching. “The king of Israel has hired the Hittites and Egyptians[d] to attack us!” they cried to one another. 7 So they panicked and ran into the night, abandoning their tents, horses, donkeys, and everything else, as they fled for their lives.

Ephesians 2:4–5 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

The lepers step forward expecting death—and instead find that God had already gone ahead of them. That’s grace.

So much of our life is spent trying to earn, fix, prove, or control. But the gospel tells a different story: before you moved, God moved. Before you figured it out, He made a way. Before you earned anything, He gave everything.

This changes how we live. We stop striving and start receiving.

Ask yourself:
Where am I still trying to earn what Jesus already gave?
Where do I struggle to believe that God has already made a way?

Today’s Step: Thank God out loud for one specific way He has already provided for you—especially something you didn’t deserve.

Prayer: Father, thank You that I don’t have to earn what You’ve already given. Help me walk forward in what You’ve already done. Amen.
