Day 4 — This Is Not Right

Day 4: This Is Not Right

2 Kings 7:9 9 Finally, they said to each other, “This is not right. This is a day of good news, and we aren’t sharing it with anyone! If we wait until morning, some calamity will certainly fall upon us. Come on, let’s go back and tell the people at the palace.”
2 Corinthians 5:20 20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

The moment hits them: “What we’re doing is not right.” Not because they found life—but because they were keeping it.

This is not about guilt. It’s about clarity. When you remember what it felt like to be outside the city—searching, empty, trying to hold life together—something shifts.

You don’t share because you have to. You share because love moves you.

God has chosen to make His appeal through people. That means your life, your words, your invitation—they matter.

Ask yourself:
Who in my life is still searching for what I’ve found?
What fear or hesitation has kept me quiet?

Today’s Step: Pray for one specific person by name. Ask God to give you an opportunity—and the courage—to invite them.

Prayer: Holy Spirit, help me remember what it felt like before I found You. Let that memory move me with love, not pressure. Amen.
