Rewrite Negative Thinking: Day 4

Day 4: Rewriting Negative Thinking
Scripture
1 Peter 5:8–9 – “Be alert… your enemy the devil prowls around… Resist him, standing firm in the faith.”
Encouragement
Negative thoughts often come as accusations, about yourself or others. “You’re not enough.” “They’ll never change.” These thoughts don’t come from God. He calls you valued, loved, and made in His image. You don’t have to agree with every voice in your head.
Reflection
  • What negative message do you tend to believe about yourself?
  • What does God say about you instead?
Prayer
God, help me recognize the lies I’ve been believing. Replace them with Your truth. Remind me who I am in You and how You see others as well.
Practice
When a negative thought about yourself or someone else comes up, replace it with truth:
“I am loved.” or “They are made in God’s image.”
