Day 1 — The Hum Beneath The Surface
Day 1 — The Hum Beneath the Surface
Read: Philippians 4:6
We live in an anxious age. But before we blame technology, culture, or headlines, we have to admit something deeper.
Anxiety often isn’t loud. It’s not always panic. It’s the hum. The background buzz. The “what if” that whispers when you wake up and lingers when you lie down.
Paul writes, “Do not be anxious about anything.”
That feels confronting because many of us have learned to live with anxiety as normal. But God never designed you to live in a constant state of internal alarm.
Reflect:
Today, simply notice your anxious thoughts. Don’t judge them. Just identify them.

Reflect:
- When does anxiety most often show up for you?
- Is it loud or quiet?
- What is your most common “what if”?
Today, simply notice your anxious thoughts. Don’t judge them. Just identify them.
