Lead Pastor Daniel Self here and I’d like to welcome you to The Orchard homepage. Things are a little different now with the reality of Covid-19 spreading through our community but I wanted to give you some ways you can still connect with us. If you’re not a part of a church or looking for community or comfort, you are welcome to be a part of what we are building and below you’ll find ways to connect.
GATHERING: While we cannot gather together physically, we are striving to gather digitally. It is vital that while we are physically distancing, we are not distancing ourselves from social interaction and community. It is more important than ever during this season. Here’s a few ways to gather together as The Orchard:
- FACEBOOK: We have a private Orchard Facebook group where we are sharing pictures, videos, concerns, needs, and encouragement. This is a great place to come together and if you’re having problems finding us, follow this link: Facebook. We are posting our Sunday sermons at 10am and we have a “watch party” where we are gathering to listen, watch, and comment. Join us!
- YOUTUBE: No Facebook? Find us on YouTube for our Sunday sermons.
- GROWTH GROUPS: We have groups using Zoom (zoom.us) to get together and discuss the message and the events around us. Zoom is a great way to see everyone no matter where you are. So as a Growth Group, download and gather as scheduled.
COUNSELING: We also understand that this is a very uncertain time for us all and uncertainty can come with a good measure of anxiety if we are not vigilant. For anyone who is needing some encouragement, perspective, wisdom, or comfort, The Orchard offers free digital counseling via Facetime or phone. Email Doug Self to set up an appointment.
GIVING: The Orchard continues to operate and support missions local and international. You can support The Orchard with your tithes and offerings by going to the Giving link. Thank you for your generous giving to God and your faithfulness through this time.
PRAYER: If you have a prayer request, please email us here. This will send the prayer request out to our prayer team who will confidentially begin praying for you immediately!
NEEDS: As needs arise, you can email us directly (we will provide links at the bottom). This is a trying time and many are vulnerable, so keep us up to date.
As a staff, we are committed to seeing us through this season with as much peace and community as possible. In these unprecedented events, we have creative solutions and plans. Know that we love you and care for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Love God! Love People!
