While we all LOVE our Sundays at The Orchard, we also know that it is really hard to get to know one another on a deeper level in the midst of hundreds of people. And the reality is without knowing and being known on deeper levels by some others in the church, in the context of Scripture immersion and study, we minimize our ability to grow in our faith the way we could and become all that God has created us to be. And with that, we certainly will not really experience the love, peace and joy that Jesus created us to experience and share with one another. Community Groups are our primary opportunity to go deeper with one another around the Scriptures and form life-changing, transformative relationships, some of which will lead to friends for life, as we do life together in smaller communities.
Community Groups meet throughout the week, up and down our valley. It may be a Women’s group at the church or a Men’s group in Glenwood, a Co-Ed Young Adult group at church or a Married’s Home Church in Ironbridge. We use to call these Growth Groups at the Orchard but we wanted to broaden the mission and vision of the groups to include what we are identifying as three community oriented distinctives:
- Communion with God
- Connecting with One Another
- Compassion for Our Neighbors and the World

- Community Groups are a place where people can get relationally connected and grow together in their faith .
- Community Groups will encourage and challenge us in our walk with Christ. Whether you are a new believer trying to figure out the basics of faith or a person who has been a follower of Christ for decades.

- Community Groups meet throughout the fall/early winter season as well as during the winter/spring season.
