Day 4 — The Lamb You Didn’t See

“On the tenth day of this month each family must choose a lamb…”

“Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

Devotional
While the crowd was shouting “Hosanna,” something deeper was happening.
On that exact day, families across Israel were choosing their Passover lamb.
A perfect lamb.
A spotless lamb.
A lamb that would be sacrificed for their sins.
And on that same day, Jesus rides into Jerusalem.
While they were choosing lambs, God was presenting His.
They thought they were preparing for sacrifice.
They didn’t realize the true Lamb was standing right in front of them.
Jesus wasn’t just coming as King.
He was coming as sacrifice.
Not just to rule.
To save.

Reflection
Do you see Jesus primarily as someone to help your life… or as the one who gave His life for you?

Prayer
Jesus, thank You for being the Lamb who took my place.
Help me never reduce You to just a helper in my life.
You are my Savior.
You are my King.
