Day 5 — Blessed Without Seeing
Day 5 — Blessed Without Seeing
Read: John 20:29, 1 Peter 1:8–9
Jesus said, “Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
That includes us.
We have not stood in that room.
We have not touched those scars.
We have not seen Jesus with our physical eyes.
And yet we are invited to believe.
That kind of faith is precious to God.
Not fake certainty.
Not polished religion.
Real faith.
Faith that wrestles.
Faith that keeps leaning in.
Faith that keeps looking.
Faith that says, “I do not see everything clearly, but I am going to trust Jesus.”
This is where the story of Thomas becomes our story.
We hear.
We wrestle.
We believe.
And as we keep trusting Christ, our faith becomes deeper, stronger, and more personal.
Reflect:
What is one area of life where Jesus is calling you to trust Him without seeing everything clearly?
What would faith look like in that area this week?
Pray:
Lord, help me trust You even when I cannot see the whole picture.
Strengthen my faith.
Keep me close to You.
Teach me to walk by trust, not by sight.
Amen.
Practice:
Finish this sentence in your journal or notes:
Jesus, in this area of my life, I choose to trust You: ________.
If this is close, your next best move is to paste this into your normal devotional template and add a short opening sentence from you as pastor.
