Day 4: I Have Seen, I Have Heard, I Know

Day 4: I Have Seen, I Have Heard, I Know
READ: Exodus 3:7-10; Psalm 34:18

TODAY’S TRUTH
Sometimes the deepest answer God gives is not an explanation, but Himself.

Before God gives Moses His name, He reveals His heart.
He says, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people.” He says He has heard their cry. He says He is concerned about their suffering. He says He has come down to rescue them.
That is who Yahweh is. He is not indifferent. He is not absent. He is not unaware. He is not unmoved.
This matters because suffering often makes God feel far away. Pain can make us wonder if God sees. Unanswered prayer can make us wonder if God hears. Shame can make us wonder if God still wants us. Our own choices can make us wonder if we are too far gone.
But Yahweh sees. Yahweh hears. Yahweh knows. Yahweh comes near.
Notice this. God does not first explain everything. He does not answer every question about why they suffered so long. He reveals who He is.
Today, whatever you are carrying, bring it honestly to the God who sees, hears, knows, and comes near.
REFLECT
Which truth do you need most today: God sees me, God hears me, God knows me, or God comes for me?

PRAY
Yahweh, You see what I am carrying. You hear what I cannot even say clearly. You know the pain beneath the surface. Come near to me today. Help me trust Your heart, even when I do not understand Your timing. Amen.
