Day 3: Jesus Meets Us on the Shore
Day 3: Jesus Meets Us on the Shore
Scripture
John 21:4-6
"Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus."
Reflection
The disciples didn't go looking for Jesus that morning.
Jesus came looking for them.
That's the beauty of grace.
Peter had denied Jesus. The disciples had scattered in fear. Yet Jesus showed up anyway.
Not with condemnation.
Not with anger.
Not with a lecture.
He simply met them where they were.
Some of us assume we need to get our lives together before Jesus will meet with us. John 21 tells a different story.
Jesus often shows up right in the middle of our confusion, disappointment, and uncertainty.
The question is whether we'll listen when He speaks.
Questions
Jesus, thank You for pursuing me even when I drift. Open my eyes to recognize Your presence and help me trust Your voice. Amen.

Questions
- Where do I need to recognize Jesus' presence today?
- Have I been expecting condemnation instead of grace?
- What might Jesus be asking me to do in obedience right now?
Jesus, thank You for pursuing me even when I drift. Open my eyes to recognize Your presence and help me trust Your voice. Amen.
