Day 1 - Meeting Place w/ God

DAY 1 — SETTING YOUR MEETING PLACE WITH GOD

• Before you begin, set yourself up for a meaningful week.
• Choose a daily time to meet with God.
  Choose a daily place where you can sit quietly.
  Bring your Bible, something to write with, and an open heart.
• This week is not about information.
  It’s about encountering God in real life.

READ — Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
REFLECT

• God began a good work in you.
• 
  
  • God continues that work.
    God will finish that work.
    Your story is not over.
• Where in my life do I feel unfinished right now?
• What would it look like to trust that God is still working there?
• Write one sentence today: “God is not finished with me.”

The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your love, Lord, endures forever—do not abandon the works of your hands.

• God will fulfill His purpose for you.

    You are not abandoned.
    Your life is in His hands.
• Where have I already seen God’s faithfulness in my life?
• What helps me remember that God has never stopped working in my story?
• What is one small step I will take today to trust God in an unfinished area of my life?

PRAYER
God, thank You that You finish what You start. Help me trust You in the unfinished parts of my story. Amen.
