Day 2 - Love & Knowledge
DAY 2 — LOVE AND KNOWLEDGE GROW TOGETHER
READ — Philippians 1:9–10 (NIV)
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best.
REFLECT
This is what the Lord says:
“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom
or the strong boast of their strength
or the rich boast of their riches,
but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness, justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,” declares the Lord.
REFLECT
Lord, help me know You more so I can love You more. Grow my discernment today. Amen.
READ — Philippians 1:9–10 (NIV)
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best.
REFLECT
- We don’t read the Bible just to gain information.
- We read it to know God personally.
The more you know Him, the more you love Him.
The more you love Him, the more your life becomes like Him. - Do I approach Scripture more as information or relationship?
- Where have I seen my love for God grow over time?
- Where do I need greater discernment in my life right now?
- We read it to know God personally.
REFLECT
- Knowing God is the greatest pursuit of life.
- Everything else fades.
Relationship with Him remains.
- Everything else fades.
- What is one simple way I can intentionally grow in knowing God this week?
- What is one practical action I will take today to grow in knowing God (reading Scripture, prayer, silence, or reflection)?
Lord, help me know You more so I can love You more. Grow my discernment today. Amen.
